Not so, all the said nation state has to do is to refuse to play along. Of course this will have serious consequences for their future credit-worthiness, but since they are already demonstrably not credit-worthy that is no big deal. The only real risk is that “somebody” will find a pretext to invade them or to change the regime for one that will play along. The secret then is to have powerful friends, which is why a strong Russia and a strong China are necessary to counter US hegemony, and why strong competing ideologies are seen as such a serious threat.

Frank, pleased to hear that the booklet meant something to you. Its author is one of the most outspoken critics of copyright, so go ahead and photocopy it and give it to whomever you wish. If we ever republish it, I am sure you and others will be happy customers.

Early in the 1990′s I read your booklet ‘Islam against Economics’ written by Umar Ibrahim Vadillo, A Murabitum Publication )PAID, People against interest debt.

Although we have read information on usury all the way through these years, it is this little publication that affected I and a fellow co-op member to cancel our bank accounts at that time. It was enlightening to me to read about usury being defined as rent, and that was a crucial piece of learning for me.

I wish to share this booklet with two people, but do not want to give them my copy.

Could you tell me where they can obtain it from.

or, if it is appropriate will you allow me to scan it into the computer so that I can send them a copy.

what is the position with that? can I copy it to share it on a small level?, perhaps they will go on to widely share it.
